Brooks & Allenville Cemetery Regulations

1. No setting of grave markers or excavating in cemetery before approval by sexton.
2. No person shall plant trees, shrubs, flowers, bushes, rooted plants or erect fences or structures of any kind.
3. Limit of one (1) adult burial vault per grave site.
4. Limit of one (1) adult burial vault with one (1) cremation per grave with only one (1) headstone.
5. Limit of three (3) cremations per gravesite with only one (1) headstone.
6. Sexton shall be notified of all cremations.
7. Sexton shall be contacted for placement of cremations.
8. A marker must be placed on the lot within a reasonable length of time after burial. The lot owner or heir is responsible for maintaining the marker including straightening or leveling if settling occurs.
9. Any casket must be placed in a concrete vault.
10. A lady will be placed at a man’s right unless requested otherwise.
11. If you are allowing other family members to be buried on your gravesite, you must fill out a "burial rights" form listing the family member's names that are allowed to be buried on your gravesite.
12. All summer arrangements (flowers, etc.) can be placed no earlier than May 1st and removed by October 15th. All winter arrangements can be placed by October 15th and removed by April 1st.
