Town of Vinland and Winnebago County Tax Collection Policy
The Town of Vinland and Winnebago County Treasurer's Office collect taxes in compliance with Wisconsin Statutes 74.11(7),(8),74.41(1), and 74.69.
PAID IN FULL OR 1st INSTALLMENT:
All personal property taxes and real estate taxes ($99.99 or less) must be paid in full with first payment by January 31. All tax payments can be processed at the Town of Vinland office until January 31st.
Taxes payments can be paid by mail and a computerized receipt will be mailed back to you. You may also pay the taxes at the Vinland Town Hall (prior to January 31st). A letter was sent with your tax bill(s), so please check that letter for any additional office hours added during tax time. Usual office hours are Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 4pm. A drop box is located on the East side of the building by the fire barn doors, if you would like to leave your payment after hours. A receipt will also be sent after your payment is processed.
It is the taxpayer's responsibility to notify their loan company as to the amount of tax due.
After January 31st- ALL real estate tax payments need to be mailed or dropped off at the Winnebago County Treasurer's office located at 112 Otter Street in Oshkosh.
Second installment tax payments must be made payable to the Winnebago County Treasurer and be paid by July 31.
