How do I register to vote in the Town of Vinland

You must register to vote if you have not previously voted in the Town of Vinland. You may do so in the clerk's office during regular office hours or the day of an election at the polls.

  1. You must be 18 years of age on or before the Election Day.
  2. You must have been a resident of the Town of Vinland for a minimum of twenty-eight (28) days prior to Election Day.
  3. You must fill out a Voter Registration form. You will need to provide proof of residency which would be a WI drivers license or State issued ID with your current address, a utility bill, bank statement or check book showing your current address. Please bring one of the residency requirements with you when you register to vote.
  4. You may register by mail, please make sure you include copies of all required documents.

How do I receive an Absentee Ballot?

All absentee ballot requests MUST be made in writing and accompanied by a copy of a valid ID. 

You can go online to https://myvote.wi.gov to request an absentee ballot.

Download and complete the Application for Absentee Ballot and return it to the Town Hall office along with a copy of a valid ID.
